If you have been to California and not seen this Castle you are missing out. It was designed by Julia Morgan and commisioned by William Hearst. It took most of Hearst's lifetime to complete. This style of architecture is the perfect example of Beaux Arts.

This is also another staircase that is one of my favorites! It's the Vatican, Rome.
